Rays rookies dance to "Call me Maybe" at Fenway



Earlier this week, we saw the New York Yankees dress up their rookies in Star Wars costumes, but one-upping that may be the Tampa Bay Rays, who had their rookies dress up as women, and dance to Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe".

To make matters worse for the kids, they had to perform the dance in front of the Green Monster at Fenway. Thanks to Rays pitcher David Price for the evidence.

Lawrie ready to play for Lansing



Blue Jays third baseman Brett Lawrie is ready to continue his rehab assignment, and this time around he will play for the Double-A Lansing Lugnuts. This will also be the Lugnuts first home playoff game and after the game, fans can stick around for a free concert. Playing.....The Verve Pipe!

McCarthy hit in head by line drive

Oakland A's pitcher Brandon McCarthy was hit on the side of his head today after a line drive hit by Erick Aybar of the Angels. McCarthy left the game; but was able to walk off the field under his own power.
