Rookie Michael Pineda of the Mariners is 2-0, 0.75 ERA this year against the Athletics, while Brandon McCarthy is 1-4 all-time against the Mariners.

White Sox starter Gavin Floyd is 6-1 in his career against the Tigers.  Miguel Cabrera has had trouble against him as well, hitting .154 for his career against the right-hander.  Brad Penny counters for the Tigers, and holds a 3-0 record all-time vs. the White Sox.

Cardinals southpaw, Jaime Garcia is 5-1 in his career against the Reds.

The Indians DH Jim Thome has 2 career home runs off the Royals' Luke Hochevar, who is 3-7, 5.93 ERA against Cleveland in his career.

Cole Hamels of the Phillies has a losing record in his career against the Marlins going 6-7 with a 3.41 ERA.  Gaby Sanchez, John Buck and Mike Cameron are the only current Marlins to take him deep though.

Ryan Howard and Hunter Pence have taken Ricky Nolasco deep three times each over the past 5 seasons.

Tim Lincecum (7-3, 2.43 ERA against the D'Backs) goes up against Ian Kennedy (2-2, 1.87 ERA against the Giants)

Chris Young, struggling over the last 2 months, is only hitting hitting .158 in his career off Lincecum.
