The Giants P Tim Lincecum, hoping to avoid the arbitration process in a few weeks, he is rumoured to be close on a 1-year / $11M contract according to reports in the Bay area. No player ever wants to go through this process, as the team tries everything to avoid paying the player what they are looking for. It's never a good sign down the road either, as players have always said that after this process, they usually have no interest in re-signing with the club down the road.
